common? [shakti] They had found their passion [KarynG] (please type GA at the end of your

bliss [shakti] they just can't help but share and
serve [shakti] GA [KarynG] Shakti, what lead you to write your
book? GA [shakti] I felt that I had such a wealth of
information [shakti] from such fascinating people [shakti] that it would be great to share it [shakti] My own personal journey [shakti] was eventful and wonderful [shakti] and I found I was happier [shakti] that about 95% of the people [shakti] I know and I wanted to help [shakti] other people come to that [shakti] place of peace [shakti] GA [KarynG] For you, personally... [KarynG] what is the most important thing to
remember about life and spirituality? GA [shakti] The first step is to take
responsibility [shakti] for all that is happening in your
life. [shakti] You are the director of the movie [shakti] it is your script. [shakti] You have the power [shakti] to react to what come to you [shakti] in life and how you [shakti] respond creates your world. [shakti] GA [Jersey] ! [KarynG] In your book, you talk about
"creating the future". Can you talk about that concept... [KarynG] and how it's worked for you?
GA [shakti] I ask people to release the past [shakti] first and go through the
forgiveness process. [shakti] You then can create your future [shakti] with the step by step [shakti] process of positive [shakti] thinking, affirmations [shakti] and goal setting [shakti] You know Psych 101 is basic [shakti] Your future can be determined [shakti] by what you allow and [shakti] who you allow in your life. [shakti] It is just that simple. [shakti] GA [KarynG] I agree with you completely! [KarynG] GA Jersey [Jersey] shakti mentioned her own journey... [Jersey] what really pushed you on your
way... [Jersey] and what was the hardest challenge
to continuing your journey GA [shakti] I was a tragedy queen [shakti] early on in my teen years [shakti] and early twenties [shakti] I was widowed at 23 [shakti] was always in relationship [shakti] and learning from each one. [shakti] Death was a companion [shakti] when we lost six people [shakti] over a few years in my [shakti] family. I needed [shakti] to understand life/death [shakti] And, I always kept [shakti] positive for some reason [shakti] The challenges came when [shakti] I tried to control other [shakti] people. I had to get [shakti] very clear I could only [shakti] control myself <grin> [shakti] and sometimes not even me. [KarynG] :) [shakti] GA [Jersey] TY! GA [KarynG] When did you first discover
"spirituality" and what topic first caught your attention? GA [KarynG] (TY = thank you) [shakti] while I was in college it was [shakti] Arthur Ford and his concept [shakti] of reincarnation--come [shakti] back until you get it right. [shakti] That just resonated with me [shakti] it was foreign to my Lutheran [shakti] background but it made sense. [shakti] I really had a special sense [shakti] of what was going to happen. [shakti] Sadly some of my best psychic [shakti] hits were about an unfaithful [shakti] lover or husband. I was able [shakti] to find my stolen Corvette [shakti] and it was in a place I had [shakti] never been. I learned to [shakti] read the Greek coffee cups [shakti] and studied some fascinating [shakti] people. [shakti] GA [KarynG] Not much of an endorsement of
developing psychic skills, if your introduction to it was through unfaithful lovers and
husbands... [Crow] ! [KarynG] You speak in your book about
"spiritual astrology"... [KarynG] What exactly is that and how did/do
you use it in your life? GA [shakti] OHHHHHHHHHHHHH! [shakti] Intense emotion brings out some [shakti] of my gifts. [shakti] Yes, I love astrology. [shakti] It is a perfect form of [shakti] psychology. The [KarynG] (Is that a "happy"
ohhhhh...or a "I stubbed my toe" ohhhh?) [shakti] stars give you some great guidance. [shakti] The OH was a big giggle. [KarynG] :) [shakti] One must find humor in all [shakti] situations. [shakti] Spiritual astrology [shakti] looks at you as a spiritual being [shakti] and it leaves out the dark and [shakti] scary stuff. All problems are [shakti] opportunities and challenges. [shakti] I live my life like that. [shakti] GA [KarynG] That sounds like a great way to
live life! [KarynG] GA Crow [Crow] Are the Greek coffee cups like
reading tea leaves? [shakti] Yes, I was in Vegas [shakti] when I used to live in Southern CA [Crow] oh... GA LOL [shakti] and went to a Greek Bizarre [shakti] all the ladies read my cup [shakti] and it was incredible [shakti] I had a Greek girlfirend [shakti] who was "mystical" [shakti] and she taught me the symbols. [shakti] It was fun [shakti] and we girls would just get [shakti] together and have a Greek [shakti] coffee session. [shakti] GA [Jersey] ! [Crow] How wonderful! GA [KarynG] GA Jersey [Jersey] did you feel you were
"psychic"... [shakti] I did have those incredible [shakti] experiences that had no [Jersey] before the Greek coffee stuff, or
did this devlelop something GA [KarynG] (Everyone, if you have a question

on you in turn) [shakti] other explanation. [shakti] However, I feel [shakti] everyone is naturally psychic [shakti] and those that listen are [shakti] just much better at it than [shakti] the rest of us. [shakti] My goal in being psychic [shakti] is to hear my own inner voice. [shakti] If I can do that I [shakti] will act in a way taht [shakti] is true to my nature. [shakti] GA [Jersey] TY again GA [KarynG] I love the way you phrased that,
Shakti... [shakti] The more I interview [shakti] people for TV [shakti] the more I understand [shakti] when they are [shakti] going with the [shakti] flow of their lives. [shakti] It does all fall into [shakti] place easily when you [shakti] are in tune with yourself [shakti] The Universe supports you [shakti] in what you are doing. [shakti] GA [KarynG] That is the absolute truth! [shakti] I keep getting big [KarynG] When I am aligned with my
"soul path" the Universe opens doors for me. [shakti] lessons that are still tough. [KarynG] GA [shakti] I know I am still [shakti] ready to learn [shakti] and I wish all the lessons [shakti] could be in love [shakti] However, part of growing [shakti] is overcoming the tough [shakti] issues. [shakti] GA [KarynG] Shakti, who were some of your
favorite guests on your TV show, and what important messages do they bring the world? GA [shakti] I just interviewed an incredible
group [shakti] of people from Mt. Shasta [shakti] There was such authenticity [shakti] such sincerity and [shakti] such incredible messages. [shakti] They have intention of forming [shakti] an exemplary spiritual [shakti] community that interacts and [shakti] is independent. [shakti] Mary Saint-Marie is a [shakti] great artist and also [shakti] a lovely soul. [shakti] Phyllis Balch is one [shakti] of my favorites. She wrote [shakti] Prescription for Nutritional [KarynG] (one of my favorite reference
books!) [shakti] Healing and she is a
"hoot." [shakti] Wayne Dyer was awesome. [shakti] I was at Kashi Ashram and [shakti] I interviewed Ma. What an [shakti] incredible lady. America's [shakti] Mother Teresa "with a
mouth." [shakti] like Bette Midler. [shakti] I love my guests. [shakti] How can I name the best???? [shakti] GA [KarynG] <grin> [KarynG] Do you feel... [KarynG] as if you were "supposed"
to become a TV show host?... [KarynG] Maybe not quite fate, but a soul
purpose? GA [shakti] It is so true to my nature [shakti] and everything I had done [shakti] before it led me to it. [shakti] My gift is to shine a light [shakti] on people who have found [shakti] their gift and share them with [shakti] a wide audience. [shakti] I have been told [shakti] by so many that I [shakti] am the best interviewer [shakti] that they have ever [shakti] encountered and that [shakti] is only because I really [shakti] am interested in what [shakti] they have to say and [shakti] I have done my homework [shakti] I read their book, [shakti] I listened to their tapes [shakti] and I went to their [shakti] web sites. [shakti] There is nothing I would rather [shakti] do. I feel so privileged to [shakti] talk with these people [shakti] They are like my church. [shakti] They are my teachers. [shakti] GA [KarynG] I've seen you in action...you
really DO connect with your guests in a special way. A viewer can feel that as they watch... [KarynG] Sometimes, it's almost like you're
"in the zone" as they say in the psychic world... [KarynG] very "present" with your

teachers... [KarynG] How have cats been teachers to you?
GA [shakti] I have two siamese now. [shakti] Mango passed over [shakti] last year. The three [shakti] were brothers and [shakti] Leo and Dax are now [shakti] 15 1/2 years old. [shakti] They are so incredibly [shakti] cool and patient and slow [shakti] in their graceful movements. [shakti] They are completely [shakti] unconditional in their love. [shakti] They are always there [shakti] and you can depend on them. [shakti] (remember my earlier [shakti] relationship issues) [shakti] they are faithful. [shakti] YOU must be completely [shakti] responsible in their care. [shakti] I adore my boys. [shakti] GA [KarynG] I agree...they're very special
animals... [KarynG] My husband and I have problems with
"manifesting" kittens... [shakti] LOL [KarynG] (thinking about getting a kitten
one week...finding a kitten the next week while hiking in the woods)... [KarynG] I swear the next article I write is
going to be about manifesting kittens! [shakti] <grin> [KarynG] We're almost out of time... [KarynG] but I have to ask you about
COLOR... [KarynG] You write in your book that, at the
time... [KarynG] your resonated with purple... [KarynG] Can you talk a little about colors
and how we're drawn to them? GA [shakti] Where is your Control Girl????
manifesting kittens. [shakti] Now about color [KarynG] (now we have SIX cats!) [shakti] Yes, I had an uncontrollable urge [shakti] for everything purple. [shakti] I was totally into my spiritual
work [shakti] living on the CA coast, reading
eight [shakti] books at a time, immersed in [shakti] meditation and only purple worked [shakti] for me. It still is my
favorite, but [shakti] my moods reflect what I wear or am [shakti] drawn to. Black protects you. [shakti] Orange is power [shakti] Red and purple and black are [shakti] all power and wealth in Chinese
feng shui [shakti] philosophyl [shakti] blue is communication [shakti] pink and green are the heart [shakti] and green is healing [shakti] yellow is positive [shakti] and optimistic. [shakti] I sometimes have difficulty [shakti] choosing the close for the [shakti] show and then I'll find [shakti] that I have perfectly [shakti] coordinated with a guest [shakti] unknowingly. [joan] ! [shakti] GA [KarynG] My husband's car is green and his
license plate says "healing"...and I know he didn't know about that color connection. Hmmmm. [KarynG] GA Joan [joan] shakti, i wonder if prisoners are
given power by dressing them in orange.. [joan] also, it is neat that the clothes you
wear for the show resonate witht he guest''s clothes... [joan] i came in late, what is the name of
your book, please.? GA [shakti] Yes, I believe that orange is
empowering. [shakti] However, it is my least [shakti] favorite to wear [shakti] I like nature's oranges [shakti] in fruit and flowers [shakti] but I don't wear orange [shakti] MY book [Crow] ! [shakti] is Sharing the Light: A Guide [shakti] to Living in Balance in Mind Body

found it is one of my favorites now, that and fuschia [Crow] I love jewel tones [Crow] GA [shakti] Yes, jewel tones are my favorites [shakti] teal has become [shakti] one of my favorites [shakti] but purple, fuschia and hot pink [shakti] that family moves my heart [shakti] I had a white [shakti] period, like the [shakti] purple phase and [shakti] I know I was working [shakti] on my higher spiritual [shakti] lessons at that time [Crow] ! [shakti] I still only have clear [shakti] glass in my kitchen too. [shakti] GA [KarynG] I imagine you in a flower garden,
Shakti, just going from flower to flower and absorbing their colors! [shakti] LOL [KarynG] GA Crow [Crow] I will always associate white with my
nursing work, didn't ever feel very spiritual LOL (too many bedpans) [joan] ! [Crow] BA [Crow] GA [KarynG] LOL [shakti] still giggling [KarynG] GA Joan [joan] I went through a purple phase while
starting college, and serving as a prayer counselor, i also was doing helping work
with the disabled then. GA [shakti] Isn't it fascinating [shakti] We can learn so [shakti] much about oursevles [shakti] if we just notice [shakti] how we are FEELING. [shakti] GA [KarynG] Absolutely!... [KarynG] Sometimes we have to be reminded... [KarynG] to stop and feel what's happening
