Who are the Pixies? The Pixies are a group of seven entities channeled by Sara Schurr.
They have a light hearted style that has brought them their name and they are very
capable of tackling the most difficult subjects with clarity, depth and laughter.
Here they are!
KG:
Sara is a channel of 7 entities known as Aranya and the Pixies. She's a full body channel
(she'll explain what that means later), as well as having a doctorate degree in
Developmental Psychology from Harvard. Ready, Sara?
KG:
Sara, what was your earliest psychic experience? SS:
When I was six my father died of a heart attack. I was down the street playing with a
friend and was not allowed to return to our house that night. The ambulances and fire
trucks came. My friend was wondering what had happened and was making up stories like
someone had broken their neck or someone had the plague (she had a great imagination).
I simply said, "He had a heart attack. He's
dead." My friend's mother who was watching blanched and asked me if someone had told
me that. I said no, I just knew it. She
didn't confirm or deny what I said, but I knew at the time I was right and I was.
KG:
Yes, often when we're young we have these abilities sometimes gets dampened when we're
older. Sara, you channel entities tell us, how and when did you first meet a spirit
guide/entity? SS:
I had my first contact with guidance after meditating daily for about 4 weeks. I had begun
meditating because that seemed to be the only important thing to do at that point in my
life. I wasn't trying to contact my guides. I was simply meditating. The contact came in
the form of a voice that I heard in my head. It spoke to me for about 15 minutes and then
I went and wrote down everything I could remember from start to finish. This became my
"form" for the next 2 years. In time I decided this guidance was coming from my
higher self. KG:
How did it feel? How did you react? SS:
It was absolutely wonderful! I felt so honored! The contact felt wonderful and comforting.
I was very concerned about what would come next in my life and the voice began by saying,
"Yes my child, you have many concerns." I'm not sure who I thought the voice was
but I said, "Father?" meaning I suppose God. The voice replied, "I am not
your father but you may call me that if you wish." The energy was always kind,
comforting and demanding. And I was never afraid, only thrilled and honored.
KG:
Are your guides always around or do you have to try to contact them when you want to
communicate? SS:
I have a number of different types of beings I make contact with. Higher self is always
there if I can get quiet enough to listen, i.e. into a deep meditation. I have also made
contact with a master teacher and a group of guides I call the circle of light. They do
not seem to take as much clarity and quietude on my part to contact. I hear them in
meditation and know them by where their voices come from around my head. The Pixies, the
entities I channel, are always available on demand. I simply close my eyes take a deep
breath, focus on them and they arrive and begin to speak through me. They seldom speak to
me in my head as my other guides do but will on a rare occasion. I do not picture any of
my guides as being with me or not with me. It is more a case of am I open to them or not.
The Pixies will on occasion hang about around me and I can feel them. They are only a
thought away otherwise. KG:
Do you have any particular technique for "calling" your guides?
SS:
I've always used meditation. At this point, I get most of my information either by doing
writing practice or by simply being open to answers. But in the years I wanted to
"call" guides, I used meditation. At this point I'm very good at dropping into
alpha and getting a fast connection. I do this with devas and nature spirits in my garden
along with contacting guides and
"calling" the Pixies to channel. KG:
If you could suggest one simple exercise for someone to do, to be introduced
to their guides, what would it be? SS:
Since meditation has worked so well for me, I suggest that people use that. I tell people
to form a question in their mind. And then letting go of the concerns of the question and
the expectation that they will get an answer or make contact, sit in meditation. Sit until
full quiet comes to you and then sit some more. Enjoy sitting. Be open. Let anything flow
to you. Don't draw things towards you. Be like a riverbed
and allow energy to flow to and through you. If you do this regularly
without attachment to results, I believe results will come.
KG SS:
I channel three being that call themselves angels. They are light beings. They have never
been incarnate. They are light and a soul. They are very light and expansive. They feel
very different than a guide in that they are much more playful and less
"concerned" than the guides. They do everything with the idea of joy and
experiencing things fully. They do not have the "helping" feel of the guides.
Their viewpoint is much broader and totally unencumbered by judgment, i.e. right and wrong
and good and bad. This sort of angel makes a very poor quality "guardian angel."
They don't think anything is wrong so they won't "warn" you or stop you from
doing anything. KG:
How do our dreams help us with our psychic and channeling development and understanding
messages from our guides? SS:
Some people get their best information from their guides in their dreams. The advantage of
this is that you clearly aren't "trying" to make contact. The guide comes to
you. The problem is that many people discount the information or don't remember it. In my
early years of channeling, I experienced the entities "downloading" information
to me while I slept. Occasionally, I'd wake up and realize this great information was
coming through. I'd ask if I should get up and write it down. They'd say no, just go back
to sleep. They were placing information into my subconscious so that I wouldn't be so
freaked out when they began to talk about new concepts and ideas later on. I know that
often times, guides will place information in your subconscious so that at a later time
you will be more receptive to it. It can also be put there so that later on it will
"drift up" into consciousness. If they place info in the subconscious or
intertwine it into the dream then when you receive a message later it can be much easier
to understand. I know also that many people who get images, get them explained in their
dreams. And the reverse is true too. I used to have my dreams interpreted for me in my
daily guidance sessions in meditation. The guidance would use the dream as a jumping off
point for some area I needed to work on or understand.
KG:
What form do the guides take? SS:
I really don't know. I've never asked. I like their information. It feels good
to be with them. So I invite them in. The
folks that talk to me in my dreams are mostly the Pixies (2 ascended master, 3 angels, and
two odd balls <grinning>). KG:
What does it feel like to channel? SS:
That's a hard question. I enjoy it. I sit and listen to what is said through me. I feel
very detached from what's happening. But everything is VERY clear and makes sense while
it's happening. KG:
Do you write it down, or tape record, or anything? SS:
The guidance I get in my head. I type. The full body channeling is all taped. I've got 9
years worth of tapes--hundreds and hundreds of hours at this point! KG:
Someone will get rich transcribing for you! Who,
or "what" is Aranya and how big are the pixies?
SS:
Aranya is an ascended master. He's the "head Honcho" of the crew because he
showed up first. The Pixies are a pet name my husband gave to the angels when they first
showed up. They're as big or little as they want to be.
I think what you're feeling is nature spirits. Most of the ones I've
"felt" or met were about three feet tall and would answer very happily to pixie. KG:
After speaking with an entity or guide, sometimes people have a hard time confirming it, in what way is it
confirmed for you? Or is it just a feeling of knowing it to be true and real? SS:
It's mostly the feeling of solidness. Every once in a while the entities will say
something to someone that is known only to them and those confirmable but mostly I tell
people to take what "rings their chimes" and leave the rest. KG:
That makes sense, Sara. That feeling of solid
"knowing" often is the only confirmation we get.
Do you have specific reasons or special times to call upon specific
entities? SS:
Not really. I know people who do this. But
the "folks" I have available to me at this point are all pretty good at anything
I want. Now if only I could get one of them
to go to the dentist for me.<grin> KG:
If you find one who will, could you ask if they'll go for me, too? <grin> KG:
Do you type the information as you get it or later on?
Can you remember later what you received
if you don't write it down? SS:
I started out simply listening and writing it down later. I have this incredible memory
(it got me through graduate school!) that allows me to run things like a tape recording.
I'd just start at the beginning and it
would run. Later when we got a computer I took dictation. I still do that but most of my
work is tape recorded now. KG:
Is clairaudiancy the same or the beginning of becoming a channel? SS:
I think it depends on your definitions. I think that clairaudiancy is a form of
channeling. But some people think that channeling only starts when you have a flow
"through". It gets to be like splitting hairs to me. <grin> KG:
Good thought, Sara I never thought of it that way. Im still confused...but time will
tell. Do you feel a "presence" when
someone/thing comes to speak to you? For
instance, do they ever come to you and "knock on your
door" to get your attention? And how do you respond? SS:
Oh boy, yes. For years I'd feel folks knock on my door. And it scared me to death. My
husband was the one who was supposed to be the channel. <grin> I now feel the
presence of my group of seven regularly. If I want to have them do their thing, I just let
it happen. The opening is more like a
stepping back and letting go of control. KG:
Sara, have you ever experienced an entity that you were uncomfortable with ,and when asked
to leave, the entity choose not to leave? If so how did you handle it?
SS:
Nope, nope and nope.<grin> I've not had anyone "arrive" that I wasn't
happy to have with me. I do know folks who have had it happen and I've counseled them on
it. You tell them to leave and you get rude if you have to. KG:
Sara, it is an honor to listen to your experiences. How did Harvard feel about your psych
experiences? Have you run into opposition? Or
do they now develop this ability in a classroom? SS:
Big grin! It was a well kept secret! Though my room-mate in social psychology is who
introduced me to astrology. I
"received" the idea for my dissertation but didn't realize until later what had
happened. KG: Shhhh...don't tell "the establishment"
<subversive
grin> What is the difference between automatic writing and channeling? SS:
Well, let's see. Automatic writing is really a form of channeling.
When I use the word channeling I mean voice
channeling, as in an entity speaking through you using your voice
and making your lips move etc. KG:
OH, thanks! Have you had any problems with
what you do, psychicly, along the lines of
family members or in laws, if so how did you handle that? SS:
Not really. I have an aunt who simply has stopped talking to me but since she lives 1,000
miles away and I haven't had the need to see her for 10 years it's no loss. The rest of my
family either ignores it and doesn't talk to me about it or thinks it's fascinating. I'm
real lucky.<grin> KG:
Sara, do you think everyone has guides and/or that everyone could contact them if they
did? SS:
Yes, I think that everyone has a whole bunch of guides and that they can learn to contact
them. KG:
Have you have or known anyone to have problems with fear in this line of work.
If so, how do you think it effects ones psychic
work? SS:
I think fear is the biggest block people face in learning to open up to their guides and
to more complex forms of channeling. The fear of being wrong and the fear of my
information being rejected certainly were big challenges for me to overcome as I learned
to channel. I'm sure that's true for
practicing psychics too. KG:
I have a question about channeling, I have tried a few times and I am not sure if I am
reaching my spirit guide or not, I was
wondering how I could take a better approach to this?
SS:
I tell people to meditate. But then I also tell people, when in doubt make it
up.<grin> Keep working at it and
don't worry if it's "true." Doubt
is a big barrier. KG:
Yes, I like the idea of using your "imagination" it stretches the intuition
muscles. <grin> How many spirit guides does anyone person have? Do we all have just
one? SS:
Everyone I've ever met has had more than one. Often
times we have bunches. I seem to have 20 or 30.<grin> But then I always was a party
girl.<grin> You can focus on them like they were only one but I think there are a
bunch out there. But the numbers aren't important.
It's what they have to say and what you do with it that's important.
And most importantly it's learning to trust
yourself and the listening and the receiving.
KG:
Well, we've run out of time for tonight. Sara,
thank you SOOO much for being here with us tonight!!! Pop in anytime <grin>! SS:
I've had a great time. Good Night! KG: Good night! |
